This fund grows purely through reinvestment — no new money is added to it.

Short-Term Plan

Irregular tax planning has meant paying a large tax amount at once, putting pressure on the internal loans. The plan over the next 3 years is to finish clearing tax obligations first, then begin repaying the internal loans and ease the debt/interest pressure.

Long-Term Plan

The plan is to keep growing the financial market investment and internal insurance basket through reinvested returns, internal loan interest, and new contributions.

03 · External Insurance

Maturity-focused insurance plans.

Three insurance plans focused on receiving a larger lump sum at maturity, rather than illness/hospital coverage.

Weeravila land & family home.

A 69.8-perch freehold land parcel purchased in 2025 — in the Weeravila area, 50 meters off the Colombo–Wellawaya main road. The home I currently live in sits on a separate, family-inherited plot and is tracked under "Home & Family Security" below, not counted as part of this investment figure.

07 · Non-Investment, Time-Depreciating Assets

Things I own that aren't investments.

Tracked here for transparency, but excluded from the investment portfolio and the Overall Portfolio summary below — these are personal-use assets that depreciate over time, not investments.

These are excluded from the Overall Portfolio summary further down this page, since they reflect personal, depreciating property rather than investments.
Overall Portfolio

How it all adds up.

Cost / paid-in basis across every category — approximately LKR 46.5 million, including the crypto holding at cost (≈ LKR 788,389), and excluding the money & gold balances held in family funds (c, d) and the non-investment depreciating assets in Section 07.

This is an asset-side summary on a cost / paid-in basis — not current market value. For example, the land's current value is higher than its purchase price, the crypto holding is currently worth far less than its cost (≈ USD 370 vs. USD 2,345), and the insurance benefits at maturity will be far larger than the premiums paid so far. None of this should be taken as investment advice.
